Robert Kopf

Rob assumed his current role in late 2023, leading Sales, Service, and Marketing for North American Flat-Rolled (excluding Automotive). Since joining U. S. Steel in 1988 after earning a B.A. in Communication from Vanderbilt University, he has held leadership roles in sales, planning, marketing, and pricing, including Managing Director – Sales and Marketing at U. S. Steel Košice. Rob remains actively engaged in strategic initiatives, including the company’s integration with Nippon Steel. He is a member of the Cleveland Fed’s Pittsburgh Business Advisory Council and has held leadership roles with the Steel Market Development Institute and the Canned Food Alliance.
