Founded in 1965, Friedman Industries is a manufacturer and processor of steel products. Friedman operates six flat-rolled coil processing facilities capable of producing sheet and plate ranging from 16 gauge to 1” thick in widths ranging from 36” wide to 96” wide. The Hickman, AR, Granite City IL and East Chicago IN facilities operate temper mills and cut-to-length lines. The Decatur AL and Sinton TX facilities operate stretcher leveler cut-to-length lines. The tubular division, located in Lone Star TX, operates two American Petroleum Institute (“API”) licensed electric resistance welded pipe mills.
