AWMI is a professional organization, founded in California in 1981, to support and advance the participation of women in the metal industries. With 21 chapters across the US and Canada, there is an opportunity to join us near you! The activities and programs of AWMI are designed to improve members' skills and experience, address the issues facing the industry, and promote members' career development with the ultimate goal of increasing the number of women working in the metal industries.
